All in a day

After camping up above Detroit Dam, decided to head to Astoria and check out Fort Stevens. But sadly by the time I made it up there it was closed for the evening. Will have to make another trip up to check it out. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the sun set from the top of the Aster Column. Explored the Nestucca byway for the first time and absolutely love that road! So much beauty and if there ever was a good road for taking a motorcycle on, that was it. Paved, perfectly winding and absolutely lovely.
