Radetec Smart Glock Slide
Radetec has announced the release of their new Smart Glock slide. This slide is very high tech and can communicate a great amount of information to the shooter. The display can tell you the Remaining Round Count in your Glock’s Magazine, whether or not a Magazine is in your Firearm, and can Identify if a Round is Chambered in your Firearm or not.
The magazine follower communicates the round count according to its position or height inside of the magazine.This piece of technology can also communicate if there is no magazine is inserted into your pistol.
Radetec has also announced their Universal Logbook. By clipping a small piece to your pistol or rifle’s picatinny rail, the Universal Logbook can record your rounds fired, the date and time of each round, and store this information in the mobile app. You also have the ability to create a library of your firearms through this app. The app can log information from multiple firearms so you can know the round count and information from all the firearms you own.
The special magazine follower communicates the round count based on its position or height inside of the magazine. For example, the height of the follower in a magazine with 5 rounds is different than the height of a magazine follower with 17 rounds in it.
