You can connect to your smartphone to the radio over Bluetooth, send messages, download maps, control the radio settings( including selecting channels, call tones, adjusting weather alerts as well as on/off settings) all without cell phone coverage. There are plenty of other great features worth checking out, especially when one of these costs just above $100!
