Free Float Handguard
Tacticool22 introduced their first line of #tactical #handguards, initially focusing on the highly-popular #Smith&Wesson M&P15-22 platform. The Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Free Float Handguard by Tacticool22 is a highly-engineered piece that fits tightly against the M&P15-22 receiver, eliminating the gap commonly seen between the receiver and other handguards. These are also more rigid than the factory plastic handguard to help retain accuracy.
The split-top Picatinny rail at the 12 o'clock position significantly reduces weight, while still enabling the shooter to bridge optics on the rear of the receiver or install front sights. The handguard also features M-LOK® accessory slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, and 3 limited rotation, push button sockets at the front in the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. “We're excited about our new handguard because it fills the need for an aluminum free float handguard for the M&P15-22.
