DESCRIPTION

Petzl's Attache Carabiner is a lightweight, pear-shaped screw-lock carabiner. Its compact size and shape is designed for multiple uses relating to belaying and rappelling, such as connecting descending and ascending devices to a harness, belaying with a Munter hitch, and is specially adapted for easy tying and untying clove hitches. The H-shaped cross section offers improved strength to weight ratio and the wider contact surface helps the rope glide better and reduces ware on the carabiner. The Keylock system keeps the carabiner from snagging during maneuvers.
