DESCRIPTION

The ATS device by Sterling Rope Co. is a versatile belay and rappel device designed for both rock climbing and canyoneering. This unique device accommodates the need for various friction settings on belay and rappel, as well as auto lock-off belay options. The ATS incorporates the best parts of a tube or plate device and a figure 8 with hyper-horns into one compact durable frame. The curved frame accepts a wide range of rope diameters up to 11 mm and can be used for both single and double rope rappelling techniques. The middle slot allows the device to be used as a plate-style belay device.
